Hi! I am Yan-Han Chen, currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University, where I work with Prof. Abhishek Halder.
Prior to that, I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University, where I was fortunate to work with my (co)advisors Prof. Hailiang Liu, Prof. Ruoyu Wu, and Prof. Arka P. Ghosh.
Research interests: Motivated by the need to develop rigorous mathematical theory and scalable data-driven methods for stochastic systems arising in modern large-scale applications, my current research interests span across Schrödinger Bridges, Interacting Particle Systems, Optimal Transport, and their intersection with machine learning.
